Ollie Johnston
Born on October 31st, 1912, Ollie was one of the two people referred to as “the fathers of animation" and part of Walt Disney's leading team animators known as the Nine Old Men. He worked at Walt Disney Studios for almost 40 years, becoming the directing animator for Pinocchio. He works on many Disney animated movies such as Fantasia, Bambi, The Fox and The Hound, and many more. Together with Frank Thomas, he release the 12 principles of animation, to help spread and preserve the knowledge of techniques to make animation.
Frank Thomas
Born on September 5th, 1912, Frank, along with Ollie, are often referred to the “fathers of animation” and part of Walt Disney's leading team animators known as the Nine Old Men. Frank worked in many films. He made a lot of short films, but he also had a part in movies. He animated pinocchio singing, the dwarves animation from Snow White and many more. Together with Ollie, he released the 12 principles of animation, to help spread and preserve the knowledge of techniques to make animation.
